Return policy

DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS

You may make an order for purchase of any Product that is offered through the Website by Shoprite.

Whenever you make an order, you declare that you have provided all necessary details for the delivery of the Product to the destination specified by you in the Order;

Any Product purchased from Shoprite will be delivered to you within 3 hours for order within Nairobi and within 24hrs countrywide from the time you place your order. Shoprite shall however not be liable to you in any way for failure of delivery being made to you within the indicated timelines;

Unless otherwise stated, all charges/prices for Products shall be quoted in Kenya Shillings;

As a User, you will pay for the Products and Services provided by Shoprite in accordance with the prices/tariff guide posted on the Website or communicated by Shoprite from time to time.

You will be required to enter a valid phone number while placing an order on the Website. By registering your phone number with Us, you consent to be contacted by Shoprite via phone calls and / or SMS notifications, in case of any order or delivery related updates

PAYMENTS

While availing any of the payment method/s offered by Shoprite, We will not be responsible or assume any liability, whatsoever in respect of any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly to you due to:

Lack of authorization for any transaction/s, or

Exceeding the preset limit mutually agreed by you and between your bank(s), or

Any payment issues arising out of the transaction, or

Decline of transaction for any other reason/s.

RETURN

Should you fail to take delivery of the Product for any reason other than a failure of the Product which was within the control of Shoprite, you will be responsible for the cost of returning the Product to Shoprite store.

If a Product offered on the Website is not as reasonably described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition. Goods/products should be returned within 30 days.

If Shoprite is unable to deliver a Product due to legal requirements, We will return or will give credit for the amount received by Shoprite from the sale of such product that could not be delivered to you.

REFUND/ORDER CANCELATION

If Shoprite comes across any difference in pricing resulting from typographic errors with regards to pricing or product information, We shall have the right to rectify the same or cancel the order(s) and refund money, if any, collected from You within 24 hours of such corrective action taken. The mode of refund will be the same as that made by you to Shoprite unless otherwise advised by us.

Shoprite reserves the right to cancel any order without any explanation for doing so, under situation where We are not able to meet the requirement of the order placed or order so placed/cancelled does not comply with Shoprite policy or for any reason. We will use best endeavors to communicate the cancellation of an order in reasonable time, to the concerned person, and any applicable refund will be made in reasonable time

DATA AND PRIVACY POLICY

We developed this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to explain how we collect, use, information from and/or about you when you use the Site or the Services. By using making an order from the site, you agree that we can collect and use your personal and other information

The Personal information we collect or maintain may include:

Your name, email address, telephone number, and other information;

Billing information that you provide us, such as credit card information;

Other information you input into the Site or related services.

We may use your Personal Information for the following purposes (subject to applicable legal restrictions):

To provide you with the Products and Services

To notify you when Site updates are available

To fulfill any other purpose for which you provide us Personal Information

Debugging customer support related issues;

For any other purpose for which you give us authorization

DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY.

The warranties provided do not cover: (i) service on parts or any attachments, accessories, or alterations not provided by Shoprite or correction of problems resulting from their use; (ii) failure to follow our operating instructions (iii) supply items (iv) Problem caused by Interactions with other products not supplied by Shoprite. (v) Any force majeure event.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and the other policies posted on the Website constitute the complete and exclusive understanding and agreement between you and Shoprite and govern your use of the products and the Website superseding all prior understandings, proposals, agreements, negotiations, and discussions between the parties, whether written or oral.
